In the SEC filing released on October 26, 2026, it is stated that Strive, Inc., bought 6,182 Bitcoin worth around $511.4 million from October 17 to October 23. This purchase makes Strive’s total holding of Bitcoin amount to 43,000 BTC. On the average, this purchase cost the company $82,732 for each Bitcoin. In addition, this is also the biggest purchase reported by the company up to now, as Strive is planning to raise $1 billion using a preferred stock sales program with SATS.
The latest acquisition represents the company’s largest reported Bitcoin purchase to date. Alongside the expansion of its treasury, Strive is continuing to use equity-based financing to support its Bitcoin strategy while maintaining funds for dividends and other corporate requirements.

The latest purchase follows another significant acquisition earlier in October. According to the report, Strive made a purchase of 4,045 BTC between October 12 and October 16, which increased their total holdings to 36,818 BTC.
Considering the average price of purchase, which is $82,732, Strive spent approximately $511.4 million for the recent purchase. Although the dollar value of its holdings fluctuates with Bitcoin’s market price, the reported total of 43,000 BTC establishes a new high for the company’s treasury.
SATS Preferred Stock Helps Strive’s Financing Model
The acquisition of Bitcoin by Strive has gone hand-in-hand with its preferred stock financing model. In a press release dated October 20, the firm stated that it had successfully concluded an enlarged IPO of SATS, its 15% Series A Perpetual Preferred Stock, which generated gross proceeds worth $630 million.
The stock was sold in 7 million units at $90 per unit. SATS carries a cumulative annual dividend rate of 15% based on a stated value of $100 per share. At the $90 issue price, that dividend rate equates to a 16.67% yield, subject to the security’s payment conditions.
Strive also established a $157.5 million dividend reserve to cover 18 months of payments on the newly issued shares. Regular dividend dates were scheduled to begin November 9, with payments subject to board declaration and legally available funds.
The company subsequently announced a $1 billion at-the-market program for SATS preferred stock. Through this structure, Strive would be able to sell its shares incrementally via certain sales agents such as Cantor Fitzgerald, Barclays, Clear Street, StoneX, B. Riley Securities, Maxim Group, and H.C. Wainwright.
Under the plan, the money could potentially be used for further purchases of Bitcoin, income-generating investments, working capital, capital expenses, stock buybacks, acquisitions, preferred stock dividends, and paying off debt. It is an indication of a possible financing model, not that all of the $1 billion has been raised.
Cash Reserves and Dividend Obligations
Strive reported that cash and marketable securities increased by $187.7 million to $554.6 million during the period covered by its latest disclosure. This forms an additional criterion for measuring its reported liquidity in addition to the company’s increasing Bitcoin holdings.
The company finances through equity and not debt. As indicated by the disclosure provided, Strive does not have any borrowings in terms of bonds, credits or leverage.
However, the preferred stock financing option includes dividend payments that are different from those of regular common stock. SATS builds up cumulative dividend payments at its annual rate but the payments are dependent on the required declarations and availability of funds. This is important to consider when analyzing the allocation of capital for Bitcoin investments and other needs.
Strive has also created another preferred stock called SATA with dividend payments being dependent on its performance. Strive had created an at-the-market facility of $500 million for SATA by December 2025.
